WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?
Combination of material and human resources used to find leaks in water networks (drinking water, industrial, domestic,…).
The best and most efficient systems are underutilized if they are incorrectly configured, installed or managed.
ELECTROACOUSTIC AND TRACER GAS TECHNOLOGY
One way to detect leaks is through the noise they generate.
All components of the network can be heard and monitored (pipes, valves, hydrants,…).
There is a wide range of systems, working at different scales and objectives.
Plan B is the use of tracer gas, which is injected into the network, and subsequently detected on the surface just above the leak. For this, a special detector is used.
